A Rather Unfortunate Childhood Story.

So once upon a time, when I was a wee little boy (around 5 years old), I was chasing my dog through my house. It was like any other day, I had went to school, came home, watched my TV shows, and now was getting bored of sitting around the house, so I started to play with my dog. We were doing our usual indoor play routine: tug of war, fetch, and me trying to ride him like a small horse, when he decided that it was time to get a drink, and got up and ran away. I started to chase after him, which is where I made my big mistake. I had been wearing only socks, and mid 90's linoleum was very slippery stuff, and as I rounded the corner in my kitchen to go towards the hallway, I slipped and went flying through the sliding glass door. The glass shattered, and my arm got all sliced up from the shards of glass. I ended up getting close to 30 stitches in my shoulder/armpit area, and five more on my wrist, to go along with 5 more on my knuckles. This event made me want to grow up, and learn to make better decisions, such as not running on a linoleum floor with socks on.

  1. Nice! I can totally relate because I have broken my wrist twice, both doing rather stupid things when I look back. I bet you never ran on those floors in socks any more after that incident!
I hope your shoulder and everything healed up good.
